Candy

I realize Halloween is over and folks are already moving on to Thanksgiving. But remnants of candy surround me at work: Tootsie Rolls, Butterfingers, Nestle Crunch bars, even Sweethearts. Note to self: find a route that avoids the candy. So do you still have left over candy? Better yet, if you had a chance to have your pick what would you choose?

  1. Snickers. Kit Kats. Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. And then anything else covered in quality chocolate. In that order. We have been gorging in my house. It's disgusting, but then we can't seem to help ourselves. We have the....the sooner we eat it the sooner it will be all gone and we'll no longer have to deal with it....mentality.

  2. Tootsie Rolls and Butterfingers are in my top 5. Reese's PB cups, too. And a good old milk chocolate Hershey bar or handful of kisses is always good.

We don't have much this year - our trick-or-treating was done in Disney, so we escaped the temptation of lots of good candy around.

How's things - getting into your prep? I hope you're having fun with it - and also think of it as a chance to get revenge on all those past miseries you endured! LOL!

    See you Saturday.

  4. I am the worst mom ever. The boys got full sized Hershey bars and I stole them. When they asked what happened, I told them their father ate it. And I wonder why I am getting fatter!! But I adore Hersheys chocolate and I was writing and I needed it so that is the story I am sticking to!

  5. Butterfingers and Clark bars. The later since they bring back memories. In Pgh you could buy bags of the ones that broke. Eating them with pretzel sticks and reading a good book was my real fun time.
